Asier Leizea Blazquez

Asier Leizea Blazquez is an experienced Load & Performance Test Manager at Zurich Insurance, leading the EMEA Performance Testing team since February 2022 and utilizing the Loadrunner toolset for testing. Prior to this role, Asier served as a Senior Quality Engineer at Aclara, where responsibilities included developing a BDD automation framework integrated with Azure DevOps. As QA Performance Manager at Globe Testing, Asier managed personnel and performance testing projects, ensuring timely delivery and collaboration with the CTO on testing methodologies. Earlier roles included performance testing solution design for Swisscom HQ, product management in an Android startup, and various analytical and development positions focusing on J2EE applications for the Basque Government. Asier holds a Technical Engineering degree in Computer Management from Universidad del País Vasco and has completed an international diploma in Business from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from Esden Business School.
