Cristian del Rio

Cristian Del Rio is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in the insurance industry. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd since February 2019, Cristian has previously held similar roles at QBE Insurance and RSA Seguros Mexico, where responsibilities included overseeing finance functions, financial reporting under IFRS and local GAAP, managing relationships with regulators and auditors, and participating in strategic transformational projects. Prior experience also includes serving as Regional Actuarial Manager and Regional Actuary for Latin America, as well as a Senior Actuarial Consultant at Willis Towers Watson. Cristian's career began as an Actuarial Analyst at Siembra Seguros de Vida S.A. Cristian holds an actuarial degree from the University of Buenos Aires, completed in 2004.
