Jaime H Paiva

Jaime H Paiva is an experienced procurement and vendor management professional, currently serving as the Head of Procurement & Vendor Management EMEA at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd since February 2012. With extensive expertise in leading procurement functions, Jaime has managed the expansion of procurement strategies across multiple regions including APAC, MEA, and Latin America. Prior roles include serving as Director of Indirect Sourcing at Nokia, where management of a substantial global team was crucial for overseeing a spend of EUR 700 million per year, and as Senior Sourcing Manager at Siemens, driving procurement activities across Latin America. Education includes training from Thunderbird School of Global Management and Duke University, complemented by a foundational degree in Business Administration from Deutsche Berufsschule am Colegio Humboldt São Paulo. Currently, Jaime also co-chairs the Supplier Diversity & Inclusion initiative at The Sustainable Procurement Pledge.
