Karsten Priemer

Karsten Priemer is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in operations management, architecture, and project leadership. Currently serving as Head of IT Operations Management and Architecture at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd since January 2022, Karsten previously held senior roles in several organizations, including Branch Manager and CTO for Germany & EMEA at GOSP and GSS from September 2020 to December 2021, and Head of CIT Services, Platforms, Infrastructure at BENTELER Business Services from January 2017 to August 2020. Early career positions include Deputy Head of Central IT Infrastructure at Benteler Deutschland GmbH, Project Manager at AtoS, and Senior IT-Architect and Project Manager at Siemens AG, focusing on defense projects, as well as software engineering roles in digital and mobile solutions. Karsten holds a degree in Computer Science from Technische Universität Chemnitz and completed an internship at Swansea University.
