Michael Hamlet

Michael Hamlet, MSOE, MBES, is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in mechanical and pressure systems. Currently serving as an Engineer Surveyor for Zurich Insurance since May 2022, Michael has previously held positions including Machine Technician at BMW UK and Engineering Technical Manager at REACT Industrial Solutions Ltd. Expertise includes mechanical maintenance leadership at FCC Environment, with involvement in the commissioning and QA of the Greatmoor Energy From Waste plant. Michael's extensive experience spans emergency repairs and routine maintenance across various systems at RWE npower and other organizations, complemented by significant self-employment in automotive repairs. Michael holds a Higher National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering from Doncaster College and an Ordinary National Certificate in Engineering from Abingdon College.
