James Alexander Cruz

James Alexander Cruz began their work experience in 2013 as a Student Technician at Cal Poly College of Liberal Arts. James Alexander continued this role until 2015 and then joined Zurn Industries, LLC as a Project Engineer in November 2015. Currently, they are still employed at Zurn Industries, LLC in this role.

James Alexander Cruz attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2010 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with a General Concentration. In addition to their degree, James has obtained several certifications. In 2017, they obtained a Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Rexnord Corporation. In 2020, they obtained a certification in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing from GEOMETRIC LEARNING SYSTEMS. Most recently, in 2022, James obtained a certification in ISO 17025:2017 from Omnex Inc. James is also registered as an Engineer In Training with the NCEES, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
