Joy Lane

Joy Lane is an accomplished engineering professional with a solid background in mechanical design and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Design Engineer at Zurn since October 2024, Joy Lane also contributes as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at Cal Poly. Previous experience includes a role as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Glenair, and a combination of Project Manager and Project Engineer at Pacific Coast Well Drilling. Joy Lane began a career in mechanical design at Schilling Robotics, and boasts an impressive academic record with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State University-Sacramento, earned with Magna Cum Laude honors, along with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an Associate of Science in Engineering and Physics from Santa Barbara City College.
