Amanda Grice has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Amanda began their career as a Deli Worker at Brant Rock Market in 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at I Measure U Ltd. and as a Quality Engineer Intern at Pavlok. Amanda also worked as a Technology Development Program Intern at Optum during the same year. In 2016, they returned to Optum as a Technology Development Program Associate where they developed backend PL/SQL and Java code for a healthcare EDI portal, designed and implemented a new web portal page using Angular, and improved a data extraction process. In 2019, they moved to Capital One as a Software Engineer and in 2021 they began working as a Software Engineer at Zus Health.

Amanda Grice attended Winchester High School from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained their diploma. Amanda then attended Boston University from 2013 to 2017, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science. In 2015, they participated in a semester exchange at The University of Auckland for Computer Science. Amanda also participated in a semester exchange at Doshisha University in 2017 for Japanese Language and Culture. In August 2020, they obtained a certification in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross.
