Taraz Rawhani

Taraz Rawhani is a Senior Candidate Engineer at Zutari since October 2022, having previously held the position of Process Engineer. Prior experience includes roles as a Chemical Engineer at Water Proof from June 2021 to September 2022, and as a Business Development Manager at Brainy Technology from April 2020 to May 2021. Taraz also served as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2018, where responsibilities included preparing lectures and setting exam questions for 270 students, and provided consulting for Limestone Metals (Pty) Ltd to optimize the production process of silver nitrate. As a Research Assistant at the University of the Witwatersrand from February 2016 to November 2017, duties involved up-scaling and commissioning a water nano-filtration unit. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Wastewater Treatment, Water and Wastewater Engineering, and a BSc in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of the Witwatersrand. Secondary education was completed at Howick High School.
