Anja Michael

Anja Michael has extensive work experience in the field of human resources, with a focus on leadership development and HR development tools. Anja is currently working as the Chief People Officer at zvoove Group GmbH. Prior to this, they held the same role at Avira from July 2020 to December 2021, and also served as the VP Global HR from May 2012 to June 2020. Before joining Avira, Anja was the Global Head of HR at DÖRKENGROUP / Ewald Dörken AG from July 2011 to April 2012. Anja also worked as the HR Director Europe at Sophos Group from July 2009 to June 2011. Anja's career started at Utimaco Safeware AG, where they served as the Global Head of Human Resources from April 2000 to June 2009. Anja also gained experience as a Project Manager M&A at TelePassport / Mobilcom from March 1999 to March 2000, and as a Team Manager for establishing business startups abroad at Ausgleichsbank from March 1991 to March 1999.

Anja Michael completed a Business Analytics course at Harvard Business School Online in the year 2019. Earlier, from 1998 to 2000, they pursued a coaching program at Die Sprache, obtaining a Coach BIB International e.V. degree. Anja's earlier education includes an M.A. degree from The University of Bonn, where they studied English, Business Administration, and Sociology.
