Zwart Techniek || When it matters most
Wouter van der Gronden is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Product Lead for BESS and Energy Markets at Zwart Techniek since January 2025. Previously, Wouter held the position of Hardware Director Europe at Blink Charging from June 2023 to December 2024, and prior to that served as Team Lead for Hardware Integration and Team Lead for Virtual Power Plant at Shell Recharge from January 2018 to May 2023. In these roles, Wouter built and led engineering teams, integrated new hardware into platforms, and facilitated commercial participation in megawatt-scale grid-balancing services. Wouter's earlier experience includes serving as Product Manager for Offshore Wind and Project Manager for Asia-Pacific at Ampelmann Operations, as well as a Graduation Intern at Shell. Wouter holds both BSc and MSc degrees in Physics from Delft University of Technology, alongside additional education in Product Strategy from Kellogg Executive Education and a foundation at Maerlant-Lyceum.
