Sr. Vice President - Corporate HR at Zydus Group

Birju Trivedi has a strong work experience in human resources, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry. Birju started their career in 1996 as an Assistant Factory Manager at Sarabhai Chemicals, where they focused on managing industrial relations and welfare personnel. Birju then moved to Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited in 2001 as a Senior Manager in the Corporate HR department, where they played a role in right-sizing the organization. In 2002, they joined Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd as a Deputy Manager in Site HR. Birju returned to Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited in 2003 as a Senior Manager in Corporate Human Resources. In 2005, they joined Zydus Group as the Senior Vice President in Corporate HR, where they were responsible for conceptualizing performance reward philosophy and leading organization restructuring initiatives. In 2017, they became the Vice President in Corporate & Global HR at Zydus Group, a position they held until 2023.

Birju Trivedi has a diverse education history. Birju completed a Post Graduate Program in Digital HR Transformation & People Analytics with a focus on People Strategy at Xavier School of Management in 2023. In 2008, they obtained an Executive MBA in General Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. Birju also holds a Part Time LL.B degree in Labour Law from the Faculty of Law at The M.S.university Vadodara, which they completed between 1997 and 2000. Furthermore, they have a PG Diploma in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from Bhartiya Vidhya Bhavan Vadodara, which they earned in 1996. In the same year, Birju obtained a Master of Social Work - MSW degree with a specialization in Human Resources Development from the Faculty of Social Work. Additionally, they hold a B.Sc. degree in Geology, which they acquired from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in 1994.
