Daniel Russano

Daniel Russano is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the fields of systems and optical engineering. Currently serving as the Manager of Systems & Optical Engineering at Zygo Corporation since February 2014, Daniel has also held roles as Senior Applications Engineer, Applications Engineer, and Associate Applications Engineer within the same organization. Prior to joining Zygo Corporation, Daniel contributed to research at Boston University as a Research Assistant, focusing on visible and infrared spectroscopy under the guidance of Prof. Ken Rothschild. Earlier research experience includes work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut, where Daniel investigated polymer brush formations using molecular dynamics simulations with Prof. Andrey Dobrynin. Daniel holds a Master’s Degree in Physics from Boston University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from the University of Connecticut.
