John Leonard

John Leonard has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. John currently holds the position of Director of Instrument Engineering at ZYGO Corporation since June 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Engineering at Nordco from January 2018 to June 2021. From January 2014 to January 2018, John worked at Honeywell as an Engineering Leader where they were responsible for product development and R&D of hospitality and retail control systems. John also has experience as the Chief Operating Officer at Oxley Inc. where they drove manufacturing, engineering, product development, and inside sales. Additionally, they served as the VP of Engineering and Product Development at Control Module Industries and Hubbell Lighting, where they played crucial roles in driving their engineering and operations. John Leonard started their career as the Director of Open Systems Solutions at Parametric Technology Corp in May 1994 and served until August 1997.

John Leonard received their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Connecticut, where they studied from 1984 to 1989. John then pursued their Master of Science degree in Engineering at Arizona State University from 1992 to 1994.
