Larry Jia

Larry Jia is the current founder and president of Zymo Research. Larry has also worked as an assistant researcher III and group leader of new pathogens at UCI School of Biological Sciences, a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Utah School of Biological Sciences, and a research associate at the Institute of Virology in the Chinese Academy of Medicine. Larry's experience in research and development has led him to be a well-respected figure in the scientific community. Larry has authored or co-authored over 100 scientific papers and books, with their work being cited over 10,000 times. As a result of their work, Larry has received numerous awards and accolades, including the prestigious NIH Director's Award.

Dr. Larry Jia earned their PhD in Microbiology from the Institute of Virology at the Chinese Academy of Medical Science. Larry then went on to earn their MD from Suzhou Medical College in China.
