Jesús Seco

Jesús Seco is the current BMM Product Manager at Zymvol Biomodeling. Prior to this, they were a Senior Data Scientist at GoldenSpear, LLC from March 2019 to July 2019. Jesús has also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at IRB Barcelona from January 2014 to December 2017, where they were responsible for part-time computational analysis and assisted in several R&D projects. Additionally, they have experience in solid phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) and purification techniques (HPLC). Jesús has also developed supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms methods for rational drug design. From January 2012 to March 2019, they were the Director of R&D, Head Data Science and Project Manager at Iproteos, where they were responsible for coordinating internal and external projects as project manager, interacting with stakeholders and key opinion leaders, and leading small groups to accomplish project deadlines. Additionally, they transformed hypothesis and data into marketable software solutions through tailored Python/R/Perl programming. Jesús also oversaw web company design/SEO to position Iproteos digital brand among competitors and was responsible for science diffusion of Iproteos R&D on social media. Finally, they have experience in grant proposal redaction (H2020, SME instrument, Retos, Torres Quevedo).

Jesús Seco reports to Maria F. Lucas, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Ena Bhalla - Administrative Manager, Ryoji Takahashi - Senior Researcher, and Lur Alonso - Senior Researcher.
