Marina Cañellas

Marina Cañellas Fontanilles is an Evolution Director at Zymvol Biomodeling with experience in computational modeling and research in the biotechnology industry. Marina has a PhD in Biotechnology from Universitat de Barcelona and has conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Ottawa. Their work focuses on tailoring enzymes for industrial use and understanding reaction mechanisms of heme-containing peroxidases. Marina has also previously interned at Almirall and conducted bachelor degree practices at Institut d'Investigació Sanitària Pere Virgil.
