James Hasewinkle

James Hasewinkle has been in the cyber security field since 2015. In 2015, they worked as a Loader for UPS. In 2016, they were a Cyber Security Intern for Decypher, where they were responsible for providing penetration tests, incident response and corresponding documentation for clients. James also worked closely with the security team in analyzing vulnerabilities, as well as manual testing. Since 2019, they have been a Cyber Security Analyst for Zyston LLC, where their duties include writing reports with rich analysis of security incidents for clients in a diverse range of industries, providing insight into improving the security posture of organizations, utilizing tools such as Splunk, Carbon Black, CrowdStrike Falcon, and SumoLogic to collect detailed information for analysis, and contacting clients and guiding them through security incidents.

James Hasewinkle attended the University of Texas at San Antonio from 2013 to 2018, studying Computer Science.
