Sjaak Thijssen

Sjaak Thijssen currently serves as Wijkverpleegkundige Palliatieve Zorg at ZZG zorggroep since May 2023 and holds the position of Duovoorzitter for Palliatieve Zorg at V&VN since January 2022. Previously, Sjaak worked as Algemeen Bestuurslid in Palliatieve Zorg at Huis Wilma from September 2022 to April 2023, where notable activities included completing a post-HBO in Palliatieve Zorg and implementing evidence-based interventions. Experience in palliative nursing was also gained at TVN Zorgt from September 2017 to September 2022 and through various roles in home care since 2008. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Nursing from HAN University of Applied Sciences and a post-HBO in Palliatieve Zorg from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, with additional training focused on leadership and caregiving.
