Lionsgate Promotes New Data Head to Better Adapt to Streaming

Lionsgate's Motion Picture Group has promoted Amanda Kozlowski from SVP of Digital Marketing to EVP of Head of Data Strategy & Innovation. In this new role the former digital marketing guru will report directly to the group’s COO Jen Hollingsworth.

Kozlowski and her team will be responsible for creating data and technology solutions, consumer and market research, and advanced analytics that enable data-based decisions and help the studio better adapt to the rise of streaming, according to Deadline.

As part of the Strategy and Innovation group, Kozlowski will also spearhead business transformation efforts and people and culture programs in close partnership with the Human Resources team and the Inclusive Content group, whic also report to Hollingsworth.

Hollingsworth said the promotion recognizes the importance of Kozlowski’s work in the transformation of Lionsgate’s business and stated, “Amanda’s incredible vision and advanced leadership skills have already established her as one of Lionsgate’s key executive team members. With this change, Amanda now turns her innate abilities to innovate and inspire toward helping the Motion Picture Group achieve our goal of being a workplace that champions inclusion, empowers staff, and continues to drive progress toward the future.”

Kozlowski initially joined Lionsgate in 2008 and worked her way up from a Junior Manager in the studio’s marketing department. In her most recent role, the USC alum was in led marketing for Lionsgate on both traditional and emerging platforms. As teh studio's digital marketing guru she was responsible for marketing Lionsgate movies and TV titles, original Starz shows, a 17K-title library, and content from third-party creators.
