Cloud data platform Splunk announced a string of new additions to its senior leadership team on July 15, all effective immediately.

Among them are Sendur Sellakumar, SVP and first-ever Chief Cloud Officer, Claire Hockin, SVP and Chief Marketing Officer and Garth Fort, SVP and Chief Product Officer.

The San Francisco-based tech company produces software for searching, monitoring and analyzing machine-generated data. It currently has around 6,000 employees.

Sellakumar has been leading product, cloud and corporate development teams for the past eight years at Splunk. In his new role, he will oversee the company’s customer-cloud transformation, acceleration and go-to market strategy in the newly-created role. As Chief Cloud Officer, his work will stretch across product, engineering, strategy, sales, partner and customer success teams. He will report directly to President and Chief Growth Officer Teresa Carlson.

Also reporting directly to Carlson is new Chief Marketing Officer Claire Hockin. She has spent the past three years at Splunk working to market Splunk during its transition as a cloud-first company and has helped scale customer engagement and growth.

Garth Fort, Splunk’s newest Chief Product Officer, joins the company after four years at Amazon Web Services. At AWS, Fort led product management teams building third-party software that would integrate with their product. Before that, he spent 21 years at Microsoft also guiding software teams through periods of high growth at scale and driving their transition to the cloud.

At Splunk, Fort will be responsible for evolving the product portfolio of software and cloud services and will report directly to President of Products and Technology Shawn Bice.
