American Airlines has elected Adriane Brown to its Board of Directors, where she will serve on the airline’s Audit and Corporate Governance and Public Responsibility committees.
American Airlines has elected Adriane Brown to its Board of Directors, where she will serve on the airline’s Audit and Corporate Governance and Public Responsibility committees.
Brown currently serves as Managing Partner at Flying Fish Partners, a Seattle-based venture capital firm. Brown, a graduate of Old Dominion University and MIT, initially launched her career at Corning Incorporated, where she climbed the corporate ladder into increasingly senior roles. She later joined Intellectual Ventures Management, where she served as President and COO, and Honeywell, where she was the CEO of Transportation Systems as well as VP and GM of two aerospace divisions.
This won’t be Brown’s first board membership as she also sits on the boards ofof Axon and eBay. She also previously served on the boards of Raytheon, Allergan, and Harman.
“We are thrilled Adriane has agreed to join American’s board,” said Chairman and CEO Doug Parker, stated in a press release. “Adriane has extensive board experience in a range of industries, and her expertise in the technology, industrial and ESG sectors will be a welcome addition to our boardroom and a tremendous asset for our company.”
