Arnold Liwanag Joins TealBook as Its New CTO

AI-enriched supplier data foundation TealBook has revealed that it has hired Arnold Liwanag as its new Chief Technology Officer.

In the company’s announcement, CEO Stephany Lapierre highlighted Liwanag’s in-depth industry experience in AI and digital transformation focused on addressing supply chain issues.

Lapierre went on to say, "As our company continues to grow, we will keep challenging the way we use technology to solve supplier data challenges and meet the increasing demands of the market. Arnold has the technical depth, experience, skills and understanding of supply chain issues to position TealBook as the only supplier data foundation that powers the digital enterprise."

Liwanag’s deep technical knowledge comes from more than 20 years in leading roles at PwC Canada, Scale AI, Hewlett Packard, and Sybase. While at PwC he led the firm’s Artificial Strategy and Transformation practice. Most recently, he served as the CTO at AI and supply chain firm IVADO Labs.

Earlier this year TealBook closed a $14.4 million Series A funding round led by RTP Global. In its January funding announcement, the startup said it would use the money to keep innovating and expand the company's global footprint.
