Liam O’Connor, an executive hired to help transportation company Lyft build its bike and scooter operations, has left after seven months with the newly-public company. Dor Levi has updated his LinkedIn profile saying that he is the new Head of Lyft Bikes and Scooters.
O’Connor was previously Tesla's Vice President of Global Supply Management, a position he left in October 2018 to become Chief Procurement Officer and Head of Lyft Bikes & Scooters. According to TechCrunch, O’Connor will be joining Zipline, the startup that delivers medicine by drone in Africa.
Levi was previously Director of Product, Marketplace/Shared Rides, Transit, Bikes & Scooters and has now been elevated to the most senior position at Lyft in bike and scooter operations. He started his career as a Product Manager at Groupon before joining Uber as Product Manager for Dynamic Pricing and Driver Movement. John Zimmer, Lyft’s co-founder and president, will also spending significant time on the operation.
