Flex names Mike Thoeny Automotive Business Group President

Global outsourced design and manufacturing provider Flex has announced Mike Thoeny as President of the company's Automotive Business Group. Thoeny will start at Flex effective June 1, 2020 and will report directly to President of Reliability Solutions Paul Humphries.

Global outsourced design and manufacturing provider Flex has announced Mike Thoeny as President of the company's Automotive Business Group. Thoeny will start at Flex effective June 1, 2020 and will report directly to President of Reliability Solutions Paul Humphries.

“We are very pleased that Mike is joining the Flex family and bringing his strong track record of disciplined execution and success in the automotive industry,” said Humphries. “He is a growth-focused technology executive with extensive experience in bringing new technology to market and we look forward to his leadership in driving continued growth in our automotive business and solidifying Flex as the partner of choice.”

Thoeny brings over 30 years of automotive industry experience to the team at Flex. He will look to use it as he manages P&L responsibility, customer and technology strategy and execution worldwide for the Automotive business unit.

Prior to joining the team at Felx, Thoeny worked at Aptiv, most recently serving as the companies Managing Director of Atonomous Driving OEM programs. Thoeny's impressive automotive resume also includes numerous senior roles at Delphi where he worked for nearly 28 years.
