Former Box Exec Moves to Toast As New Chief Information Officer

Toast announced on Wednesday that Anisha Vaswani will join the company as its first Chief Information Officer. Vaswani most recently served as CIO at Box and brings over 20 years of IT experience to Toast. She will report directly to Toast co-founder and president Aman Narang.

In her new role, Vaswani will oversee the restaurant management company’s IT organization and will also be responsible for delivering innovative technology capabilities, systems, and tools that align with Toast’s corporate strategy.

During her tenure at Box, Vaswani was responsible for global IT operations, end-user services and the project management office. Her team helped lead technology selection, solutions architecture, analysis, design and development of project management systems. Before Box, Vaswani also held roles at VMWareand Hewlett-Packard.

Vaswani’s position will go into effect immediately.
