JetBlue announced Monday that Ciprian Acatrinei will be promoted to Senior Head of Technology for JetBlue Travel Products, the airline’s wholly owned travel subsidiary.

His promotion was announced alongside a slew of leadership changes at the airline, including Ed Baklor, new Head of Customer Care and Programs, Alex Battaglia, new Head of Airports and System Operations and Allen Huang, new VP of Associate General Counsel.

Acatrinei has been a part of the Travel Products team since 2008. In 2018, he was promoted to Head of Technology Team where he helped craft its overall strategy to drive business growth.

He will continue to oversee the team in this new role, as well as spearhead the development of JetBlue Vacations and its newly launched travel website, Paisly by JetBlue, which makes individually tailored suggestions for travel components such as hotel stays and rental cars.

“Ciprian has helped us capitalize on the snap back in leisure demand with both new and improved product offerings in the past year,” said Andres Barry, President of JetBlue Travel Products. “I look forward to seeing continued revenue generation by providing a continually improving JetBlue Vacations experience, and better targeting our offers to customers via Paisly under Ciprian’s leadership.”
