Joseph Holmes has joined autonomous vehicle (AV) technology startup Perrone Robotics as its VP of Global Business Development.

The role will see him focus on sales efforts to grow the company’s AV customer deployments across commercial, industrial, and government sectors.

"Joe's understanding of the autonomous vehicle space and comprehensive understanding of the customer requirements represent a vital asset to our growth strategy,” Paul Perrone, the company’s founder and CEO, said in a press release. “His addition to our senior leadership team has a direct impact on our ability to serve customers both in the United States and internationally. Joe will play a key role to help us establish Perrone Robotics as the reliable fully autonomous mobility solution of choice.”

Holmes brings more than 16 years of sales expertise and has previous experience working with AV and electric vehicle deployments. Prior to his role at Perrone Robotics he was the Director of Sales for North America at another AV technology startup called EasyMile.

"I'm really excited to be joining Perrone Robotics' market-leading team. I look forward to bringing my passion for the product and experience of the industry to help drive innovation and the business forward," stated Joseph Holmes, VP of Global Business Development.

He joins Perrone Robotics alongside a host of recent hires the company has made in the wake of a $10 million equity investment by CapStone Holdings. Last month, the company announced the addition of Janet Bourland as its VP of Talent and Danny Vinson as VP of Assurance.
