Snap Adds Finance Expertise With New Board Member

Snap announced it has a brand new board member, Hello Sunshine exec Liz Jenkins, effective immediately. Jenkins, a seasoned executive, will serve on the company’s audit committee.

Evan Spiegel, co-founder and CEO of Snap, said he was thrilled by the news and said he is “confident we will benefit greatly from her vast experience and knowledge.”

Jenkins is currently the CFO of Hello Sunshine, a female-centric media company founded by actress Reese Witherspoon. Before joining Hello Sunshine in August 2018, the Stanford and Wharton grad led Strategic Ventures at PlayStation.

“Liz brings to the board broad industry expertise across a variety of key areas, including finance, strategy, and operations,” said Snap’s Chairman Michael Lynton. “We look forward to her many contributions over the years to come.”
