Best Buy announced that Steven E. Rendle, a leading executive in the apparel industry, has been appointed to its board of directors, effective March 18. Source

HanesBrands announced that Tracy Preston has been named general counsel, corporate secretary and chief compliance officer, effective March 29, 2021. Preston joins from The Neiman Marcus Group, where she was Chief Legal Officer, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Compliance Officer. Source

Walmart announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Randall Stephenson, former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AT&T, as a new member of the company’s board, effective March 3. Source

Vince announced the appointment of Jack Schwefel as the CEO effective March 29, 2021. Prior to joining Vince, Schwefel served as the CEO of Cost Plus, Inc. from 2017 to 2021. Source

Walmart lost its EVP of US Supply Chain, Greg Smith, to MedTronic. Smith had been leading Walmart's efforts to combine its store and e-commerce supply chains. Source

Tapestry-owned Kate Spade announced the exit of Creative Director Nicola Glass, effective April 1, 2021. The brand has commenced a search for a new Head of Product Design. Source

Tapestry-owned Kate Spade announced that Kristen Naiman, who was the company's SVP of Brand Creative will become its new SVP of Brand Concept and Strategy on April 1, effective April 1, 2021. Source

Herschel Supply Co. announced today that Jon Hoerauf will join the company as CEO, effective immediately. Hoerauf previously worked at Arc'teryx and The North Face. Source

Kimberly-Clark revealed that Robert Long has been named to the newly created role of Chief Research and Development Officer, effective March 15, 2021. Long had previously been Coca-Cola's Senior Vice President for Global R&D and Chief Innovation Officer. Source

Kimberly-Clark announced that Paula Ramos has been appointed as the company's new Chief Strategy Officer, effective March 15, 2021. Source

Levi Strauss & Co. announced Stephen C. Neal, current board chair, will be stepping down from the position on March 26, 2021 and will replaced by Robert “Bob” A. Eckert. Source
