Workplace Tech

UserZoom, the leader in Experience Insights Management (XIM), today announced that Sophie Chesters has joined the company as its first Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to joining UserZoom, she was the SVP and CMO at Medallia.

Buildout, a CRE marketing automation startup, has appointed Kirk Ziehm as CEO. Most recently, Kirk was COO of Zego.

Cube Software, a FP&A SaaS platform, has hired former Salesforce executive Brian Weinberger as SVP of Sales.

HR Tech

Namely announced the promotion of Nick Christman to Chief Operating Officer. Christman had been the company’s SVP of Product and Client Operations.

Empyrean, a benefits administration technology platform, has announced that industry veteran Kelly Clark has joined as Chief Information & Technology Officer. Clark previously held several C-level positions at Maximus and OptumHealth.

Internet

Facebook has named Nicola Mendelsohn as the permanent VP in charge of its Global Business Group. Mendelsohn had held the role on an interim basis since the departure of Carolyn Everson earlier this year.

Fintech

Bumped, a startup that gives businesses the ability to reward customers in fractional shares of stock, announced that Babak Farrokh-Siar is joining the company as Chief Revenue Officer. Babak joins Bumped from Acorns, where he led national business development.

Transportation Tech

Proterra, an innovator in commercial vehicle electrification technology, announced the appointment of Chris Bailey as President of its Proterra Powered and Energy business units. He was previously SVP of Proterra Energy.

Real Estate Tech

LendingHome announced that Carrie Weber has joined the company as Chief Risk Officer ahead of its rebrand as Kiavi later this year. Weber was the former CRO at Ameritas.

Funnel Leasing, a renter-centric leasing platform, announced the hiring of Stephany Mesa as Chief of Staff.

E-Commerce

ChowNow, the platform powering online ordering and marketing for independent restaurants, has named Anna Tauzin as Senior Director of Industry Relations and Community Affairs. Prior to joining ChowNow, Tauzin served as the Chief Revenue and Innovation Officer for the Texas Restaurant Association.

Cart.com, the first end-to-end ecommerce services provider, has appointed Sara Patterson as Chief People Officer. Most recently Patterson served as Chief People Officer of Lemonade.

Health Tech

Availity, a real-time health information network, announced that Jim McNary has joined the company as COO. McNary, a former Navy SEAL, previously served as CEO of Consortium Health Plans.

tab32, a cloud-based, full-service technology platform for the dental industry, announced the appointment of Melissa LuVisi as the company's Chief Strategy Officer.

IT

Randall-Reilly has named Keith Manthey as its CTO. He joins from Dell Technologies, where he served as a global CTO.

DigitalOcean, a cloud provider for developers, startups and SMBs, has appointed Gabe Monroy as Chief Product Officer. Prior to DigitalOcean, Monroy was VP of the Azure Developer Experience group in Microsoft’s Developer Division.

DataRobot has promoted Nenshad Bardoliwalla as the company’s Chief Product Officer. Bardoliwalla had been the company’s SVP of Product & Customer Experience.

Celonis announced the appointment of Ariel Bardin as Chief Product Officer. Bardin was previously a VP of Product Management at Google.

CentralSquare Technologies, a public sector technology provider, announced the appointment of Amir Siddiqi as its Chief Customer Officer. Previously, he served as the SVP of Vertical Solutions at Alteryx.

GoodData, the leader in composable data and analytics infrastructure, announced two internal promotions: Simona Baxa to VP of HR, and Tomas Honzak to VP of Security and Compliance.

Cybersecurity

Pixalate, a fraud protection, privacy, and compliance analytics platform for Connected TV (CTV) and Mobile Advertising, announced it has hired Amit Shetty as VP of Product Management - Ad Fraud Platform. Before Pixalate, Shetty was VP of Programmatic Products & Partnerships at the IAB Tech Lab.

Illumio, a business data center and cloud computing security company, announced the appointment of Kathleen Swift as Chief People Officer. Swift joins Illumio from BOLD.

Connectivity

Charter Communications announced that CFO Chris Winfrey was elevated to COO, EVP of Finance Jessica Fischer become CFO, and Chief Product & Technology Officer Rich DiGeronimo will add oversight for Charter's Network Operations to his existing responsibilities.

Aviat Networks, a wireless transport solutions provider, announced that David M. Gray will join its management team as SVP and CFO. Before joining Aviat, Mr. Gray was Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, of Superior Essex
