Workplace Tech

Phonexa, a marketing automation platform, has promoted Amanda Farris from Director of Strategic Partnerships to Chief Strategy Officer.

Outreach, an engagement and intelligence platform provider, promoted Mike Zinne from SVP of Customer Success to Chief Customer Officer.

Fintech

OppFi, a fintech platform that allows banks to help consumers gain access to credit, has named Neville Crawley, currently the company’s President, as the company’s next CEO. He will replace Jared Kaplan as CEO on December 31, 2021.

Finitive, a data-driven private credit marketplace connecting borrowers with institutional investors, announced it has hired Todd Stokes as its Chief Data Officer. He has held senior positions at OnDeck Capital and served as VP of Risk and Analytics at Miami-based investment firm 777 Partners.

InsurTech

DealerPolicy, an insurance marketplace for automotive retail, appointed Tom Super as Head of Agency Solutions. Most recently, Super served as Head of P&C Insurance for J.D. Power and Associates.

Health Tech

Medecision, a digital care management solutions and services company, announced the addition of Tal Weitzman as its Chief Information Officer. Prior to rejoining Medecision, he served as a consultant at Managed Markets Insights & Technology (MMIT).

Cue Health, a health technology company, has appointed Nitin Duggal as its first Chief Marketing Officer. Most recently, he served as Senior Commercial Director in Abbott's Biowearables group.

K Health, a digital healthcare company, announced that Dr. Jennifer M. Peña has joined as its first-ever Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Peña’s most recent role was Chief Medical Officer at healthcare company Nurx.

Happify Health, a personalized digital therapeutics and care solutions company, appointed Megan Callahan as its COO. Before joining Happify Health, Callahan was the president and general manager of Lyft Healthcare.

E-Commerce

Vroom, an e-commerce platform for buying and selling used vehicles, appointed Thomas Shortt as COO, effective January 3, 2022. Shortt previously served as a SVP at Walmart.

Media Tech

Audacy, the multi-platform audio content and entertainment organization, has elevated Sarah Foss from Chief Information Officer to serve as its first CTO.

LiveOne, a global platform for livestream and on-demand audio, video, and podcast/vodcast content named VP and Corporate Controller Aaron Sullivan as LiveOne's Interim CFO. He replaces Michael Quartieri who is leaving the company on December 31, 2021.

Connectivity

Kong, a cloud connectivity company, announced that Juliette Rizkallah has joined the company as its first Chief Marketing Officer. She most recently served as CMO for A Cloud Guru.

Transportation Tech

Canoo, an electric vehicle manufacturer, has promoted Sohel Merchant from SVP of Complete Vehicle Engineering to CTO. The company also hired Dean Harlow as EVP of Operations and Ram Balasubramanian as Chief Information Officer.

FreeWire Technologies, an electric vehicle charging station and power solutions provider, announced that Tamara Mecham has been hired as VP of Human Resources and Talent. Prior to joining FreeWire, Mecham served as Head of Human Resources, Americas for Sartorius.

Lordstown Motors has named Melissa Leonard as EVP, General Counsel, and Secretary. Leonard was previously the co-leader of the Mergers and Acquisitions team for Baker & Hostetler LLP, where she has served as outside counsel to the Lordstown since 2019.

Logistics Tech

GetSwift a real-time delivery management software provider, has named Michael Willetts as its CFO. Willetts was previously the company’s Corporate Secretary GetSwift and will succeed CFO Rob Bardunias, who will stay on as COO.

Cybersecurity

Keeper Security, a provider of zero-trust and zero-knowledge cybersecurity software, appointed Gerardo A. Dada as Chief Marketing Officer. Most recently, Dada was CMO at DataCore.

ID.me, a secure digital identity network, announced Stephen Benedict has joined as Chief Product Officer. He most recently led product management for personalization at Amazon.

Aqua Security, a pure-play cloud native security provider, hired Albert Nieves as VP of Federal Sales. He has held senior management roles at Galvanize, Nuix, X1, FireMon, Guidance Software and E-Net Corporation.

IT

Veeam, a data backup, recovery, and management solutions company, has appointed Anand Eswaran as its new CEO. Eswaran joins Veeam from RingCentral, where he was President and COO.

Affiniti has appointed its Board Chairman, Larry Babbio, as its next CEO. Babbio is the former Vice Chair and President of Verizon.

Internet

OnlyFans, the subscription social media platform connecting creators and their fans, named Amrapali "Ami" Gan as CEO. Gan had previously served as the company’s Chief Marketing and Communications Officer.

Upwork, a work marketplace that connects businesses with independent talent, has revealed that Brandon Savage was hired as VP of Customer Experience and Trust & Safety. Additionally, Lily Ng was appointed PEX Chief of Staff and VP of R&D Transformation, Serge Doubinski joined as VP of Growth, and Fran Murphy was appointed VP of Community.

Upwork, a work marketplace that connects businesses with independent talent, announced that David Comer was appointed VP of Product for Delivery Models and Platform Solutions, Emily McCord joined as VP of Product for Domains, Apurva Garware was named VP of Product and GM of Talent Marketplace, and Irem Metin was hired as VP of Product with responsibility for Project Catalog.

ZipRecruiter, an online employment marketplace, promoted David Travers from CFO to President. Timothy Yarbrough has been promoted from Chief Business Officer to CFO. ZipRecruiter also promoted SVP of Accounting Amy Garefis to Chief Accounting Officer.

Aerospace

Voyager Space, a space exploration startup, has hired Clay Mowry as Chief Revenue Officer. Mowry joins Voyager from Blue Origin where he served as VP of Global Sales.
