Workplace Tech

DocuSign, the agreement automation and e-signature platform, announced that Inhi Cho Suh, a current board member will transition to become its President of Product and Technology.

DocuSign hired former Bolt and Twitter Chief HR Officer Jennifer Christie as its Chief People Officer and named former Workday legal executive Jim Shaughnessy as Chief Legal Officer. The company also promoted Jerome Levadoux to Chief Product Officer.

Anaconda, a data science platform provider, tapped Shahz Afzal as its SVP of Marketing & Strategy. Afzal most recently served as the Global Head of ISV at AWS.

Argyle, an employment data platform appointed Brian Geary as Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to joining Argyle, Geary served as President at Linear Financial Technologies.

Unbounce, a leader in landing page and conversion intelligence software, revealed that INDOCHINO’s revenue chief, Pete Housley, joined as Chief Marketing Officer and former Yellow Pages executive Darby Sieben was appointed as Chief Product Officer.

Fintech

POSaBIT Systems, a provider of payments infrastructure in the cannabis industry, appointed Julie Solomon as Chief Revenue Officer. Solomon joins POSaBIT from Synctera, where she served as the company’s Chief Revenue Officer.

Health Tech

Ekso Bionics, a developer of powered exoskeleton bionic devices, named Jerome Wong as Interim CFO following the departure of current CFO Jack Glenn, who resigned effective June 17, 2022

Medicx Health, which provides commercialization of data and analytics software and services to enable pharmaceutical and healthcare brands, brought on Krishna Kadiyala as Chief Product Officer. He most recently served as VP, Commercial Operations, Strategy and Excellence at Seagen.

Hone Health, a telehealth clinic, selected Dr. Jack Jeng as its Chief Medical Officer. Prior to joining the Hone team, Dr. Jack Jeng was a Director of Medical Affairs at Becton, Dickinson and Company.

Transcarent, a consumer-directed health and care platform for employees of self-insured employers, hired Tim Rosa as its Chief Marketing Officer. Rosa previously served as FitBit’s CMO.

EdTech

Degreed, an upskilling platform, appointed Venkat Subramaniam as Regional VP of APAC. Prior to joining Degreed, Venkat was a General Manager, Head of Sales Oracle NetSuite India.

Top Hat, a dynamic courseware platform for higher education, hired Hong Bui as Chief Product Officer and Bradley Cohen as Chief Academic Officer. Bui joins Top Hat from GoDaddy where he led the organization’s security business and Cohen formerly worked as the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer at Ohio University.

E-Commerce

HyreCar, a carsharing marketplace for ridesharing and food/package delivery services, appointed Greg Tatem as CTO. He previously held leadership and technology roles at Wine.com and Williams Sonoma.

Webscale, a secure cloud platform for modern commerce, named former FogHorn executive Michael Hutchinson as its CFO. The company also hired Sophie Maler as its new VP of Product. She joins Webscale from Vesta, where she led Product Marketing.

Media Tech

Teads, a global media platform, hired Natalie Bastian as Global Chief Marketing Officer. Bastian was most recently at Tubi’s SVP of Head of Marketing.

Transportation Tech

Xwing, a company pioneering autonomy for aviation, added Earl Lawrence, the outgoing Executive Director of Certification for the Federal Aviation Administration, as its Chief Compliance and Quality Officer.

Reliable Robotics, a leader in autonomous aircraft systems, hired Kevin Sagis as SVP and Chief Engineer. Sagis previously worked at Virgin Orbit, where he was Chief Engineer and Senior Vice President of Engineering.

RR.AI, an autonomous driving technology venture, appointed Joseph Putney as its first CTO. Putney was previously the VP of Engineering at RR.AI’s parent company, Robotic Research.

Opener, an eVTOL aircraft systems company, selected Ken Karklin as its new CEO. Karklin previously held several positions at AeroVironment, including VP & GM of the Efficient Energy Systems segment and SVP of Operations.

Logistics Tech

FlyGuys, a full-scale nationwide drone service company, selected David Johnson as its SVP of Sales.

Cybersecurity

Optiv, a cyber security advisory firm, promoted Josh Locker from SVP of Enterprise and Commercial Sales for the U.S. to EVP of Sales.

Climate Tech

Quaise, a venture developing millimeter-wave drilling systems for deep geothermal heat access, appointed Kevin Bonebrake to the position of CFO and Head of Corporate Development. Bonebrake joins Quaise from Lazard, where he was a Managing Director.

Perch Energy, a clean energy tech services platform, appointed Sencelia Reynolds as its COO and Georgina Arreola as VP of Policy. Prior to joining Perch, Reynolds served as COO at Centricity and Arreola served as Perch's VP of Operations.

IT

LogicMonitor, a SaaS-based unified observability platform for enterprises and managed service providers, promoted Nitin Navare to CTO. Navare initially joined LogicMonitor in 2018 as VP of Engineering and Cloud Operations.

Aviatrix, a secure cloud networking company, tapped Michael Welts as its Chief Marketing Officer. Welts comes to Aviatrix from Wasabi Technologies, where he was CMO.

Sourcepass, a digital IT services firm, named Michael J. Ducsak as its new Chief Information Security Officer. Before Sourcepass, Ducsak served as CISO for a large global educational, research assessment and technology firm.

Matterkind, IPG’s activation intelligence company, announced today Sean Popen has joined the company as EVP, Outcome Navigator. Popen was previously the Chief Marketing Officer for Off Lease Only.

Internet

RVshare, an online community for RV owners and renters, promoted Melissa Fortenberry from VP of Product to Chief Product Officer.

Bitly, a URL shortening service and a link management platform, hired Jackie Cureton as VP of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) and Danielle Rutigliano as VP of Talent Acquisition. Prior to Bitly, Cureton served as a Management Consultant and DE&I practice leader at Deloitte. Rutigliano previously served as Global Head of Talent Management at Vice Media.

Proptech

WeWork, a global flexible space provider, appointed Andre J. Fernandez as its next CFO, effective June 10, 2022. Most recently, Fernandez served as EVP and CFO at NCR.

Johnson Controls, a multinational conglomerate and building technology firm company, appointed former Microsoft and IBM leader Rodney Clark as VP and Chief Commercial Officer.
