Video hosting and sharing platform Vimeo has revealed the 11 board members the company plans on electing following its split from parent company IAC. The company, which is expected to become an independent company listed on Nasdaq during the second quarter of 2021.

“Vimeo has been part of IAC for 14 years, growing into a strong industry leader ready to stand on its own,” IAC CEO Joey Levin said in a press release. “Hard to believe that what started as a small team inside College Humor is now positioned to become a big public company with a world-class Board of Directors. Vimeo represents the best of IAC – a long-term investment with a product that delights users in a large and growing market, an incredible management team, and big ambition.”

The company’s lineup of execs to help guide the New York-based company includes many notable names from Levin, who will serve as Chairman of the Board to famed Film Director Spike Lee.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Vimeo saw its business boom as adding more users in the last 7 months than the last three years combined. The platform now has over 200 million users.

The spin-off is an attempt by the company to raise more money and continue its rapid growth by further investing in product and sales capabilities. This follows news that Vimeo raised $300 million in primary equity in January 2021 and $150 million in a November 2020 funding round.
