Arunava Basak's education history begins in 1989 when they attended Julien Day School and obtained their I.C.S.E degree in General Studies. They then attended St Paul's Cathedral Mission College from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained their W.B.C.S.E degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies, and Humanities. In 2004, Arunava attended the ICFAI School of Information Technology, where they completed their Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) degree in Computer Science in 2006.
