Katya Chaparro

Katya Chaparro is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in quality assurance and plant physiology. Currently serving as the Sr Director of Quality Assurance at 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC. since June 2008, Katya has previously held the position of Director of Quality Assurance at the same company. Prior to this role, Katya worked as a Quality Assurance Manager in the US for Dole Fresh Flowers from January 2000 to June 2008 and as a Research and Development Manager at Floramerica S.A. from September 1993 to July 1999. Katya holds a Master of Science in Plant Physiology from Universidad Nacional de Colombia and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
