Kaz de Souza Mateus Azim is a highly experienced bioinformatician and computational biologist, currently serving as the Lead Bioinformatician at GliaGenesis Ltd. since July 2020, where the focus is on developing therapies for neurodegenerative diseases through an in silico drug discovery platform. Additional roles include serving as a Computational Biologist at Independent Data Lab since July 2022 and various positions related to community engagement and networking. Prior experience includes significant contributions at the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft as a Principal Investigator/Senior Bioinformatician, where long-term funding was secured to explore brain rejuvenation therapies.
