Rachel Mercik

Rachel Mercik is an experienced soccer coach and digital content creator with a diverse background in athletics and media production. Currently serving as the Assistant Soccer Coach at the University of California, Berkeley since January 2023, Rachel also holds the position of Head Soccer Coach at Solano Surf and contributes as a Digital Content Creator for both 100 YARDS and Female Footballers, an organization focused on empowering young female athletes. Previous roles include volunteering as a Women's Soccer Coach at the University of California, Davis and working as a professional athlete with Apollon Ladies FC. Rachel's extensive experience in sports coaching, coupled with a Bachelor's degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, showcases a commitment to athlete development and digital storytelling.
