Markus Hummelsberger

Markus Hummelsberger currently serves as Geschäftsführer and Co-Founder of 1000 Satellites GmbH since March 2019. Prior to this role, Markus held various positions at BASF, including Head of Digitalisation Chemical Intermediates, where responsibilities involved leading digitalisation initiatives across business lines, and Senior Project Manager Industry 4.0. Markus also served as Marketing & Sales Director at Succinity GmbH, overseeing global business development and marketing strategies for biobased succinic acid. Earlier roles at BASF SE included Head of Product Management, managing a substantial P&L, and Global Key Account Manager, handling major clients in the food industry. Markus began the professional journey as an intern at Fiducia Management Consultants in 2002, following education at the University of Münster.
