Alan Akina

Alan Akina has a diverse work experience spanning from 1996 to present. Alan is the Founder of TeamUp.Money since March 2022. Previously, they served as the CEO of 101 Financial from November 2002 onwards, overseeing operations and helping individuals and families with their financial goals. Alan also authored "The Super Duper Simple Book on Money," an Amazon #1 Bestseller, in April 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Financial Fitness Reporter for KHON-TV from January 2011 to September 2020. Prior to that, they were the President of Akina Communications from August 1996 to January 2004.

Alan Akina earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Brigham Young University–Hawaii in the period of 1991 to 1995. Alan also completed the Pacific Century Fellows program with a focus on Social Issues from 2008 to 2009.
