Niav Owens is a seasoned sports host and director with extensive experience in sports broadcasting. Currently, Niav serves as the host for the Liberty A-League and ISUZU Ute A-League on Network 10 and Paramount Plus since September 2021. Additionally, Niav has held the position of director at Media Goals since February 2018. Recent hosting roles include the AFC Asian Cup 2023 for beIN Sports and the FIFA Women’s World Cup for Optus Sport. Niav's experience also encompasses hosting the FIFA World Cup 2022 on SBS Australia, as well as previous roles at ABC Local Radio and ABC News24, where Niav produced and presented sports content. Niav holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Communications in Journalism from the University of Newcastle.
