Taylor Lovett

Taylor first started playing around with HTML at age 10; his curiosity for websites and web applications grew from there. He has a passion for turning a blank canvas into something incredible. Solving the constantly changing puzzle of meeting client needs propels Taylor to learn about different and more effective web technologies and strategies.

Taylor believes learning is an extremely important part of what keeps web development fresh and fun. When WordPress came onto the scene, he jumped in head first developing plugins and themes for personal and client websites. Taylor’s most popular plugin is Custom Contact Forms; a plugin for creating contact forms that is jam packed with features. It has been downloaded over 1M times.

Taylor was one of 10up’s first employees, joining during its first year, and would go onto become one of 10up’s first Senior Engineers and Technical Leads. In summer 2014, following continued outstanding team leadership and production outcomes supporting clients like the New York Observer and Variety, Taylor was promoted from within to Director of Engineering.
