Byron Hartman

Byron Hartman serves as a Senior Staff Product Manager at 10x Genomics, leading the commercial development of new assay products for the Xenium platform. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Director of Product Management for Spatial Biology at NanoString Technologies, where responsibility included aligning product management initiatives for RNA assay products, and Senior Product Manager for Instrumentation at Spatial Genomics, focusing on automated spatial multi-omic analysis development. Hartman's background also includes product management for automated microscopy at Miltenyi Biotec, as well as impactful research positions at Stanford University School of Medicine, culminating in a Ph.D. in Biological Structure from the University of Washington and dual bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Communication from Indiana University Bloomington and the University of Michigan, respectively.
