10X Genomics
Florian Wagner is a Senior Computational Biologist at 10x Genomics since September 2021, previously serving as Computational Biologist 2. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Scholar position at the University of Chicago, where Florian developed and applied machine learning approaches to study autoimmune diseases using single-cell RNA-Seq in the Basu Lab and Pott Lab from September 2019 to September 2021. Before that, Florian was a Postdoctoral Fellow at NYU School of Medicine from April 2017 to August 2019, focusing on machine learning techniques for analyzing single-cell RNA-Seq data in the Yanai Lab and developing the ENHANCE algorithm for denoising such data. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics from Duke University, an MSc in Biology from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and a BSc in Biochemistry from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg.
