Meiliana Tjandra

Meiliana Tjandra is a Senior Staff Scientist at 10x Genomics, having progressed through roles including Staff Scientist and Senior Scientist since 2019. Prior experience includes serving as a Scientist II at Aduro Biotech and as a Scientist at Novartis, focusing on the design and synthesis of small molecule analogs for virology and antibacterial projects, and collaborating on projects advancing from lead optimization to drug candidate selection. Tjandra's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where enantioselective total synthesis of alkaloids was completed as a Graduate Research Assistant, and a BS in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
