Shamoni Maheshwari

Shamoni Maheshwari is a seasoned computational biologist currently serving as a Staff Computational Biologist at 10x Genomics since September 2017, where contributions include advancements in single cell immune profiling and the development of innovative technologies for RNA and DNA measurement. Previously, Shamoni held various roles within the company, such as Senior Computational Biologist and Applications Computational Biologist, focusing on single cell multiplexing and copy number variation. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral researcher position at UC Davis, where accomplishments involved securing a competitive fellowship, leading multiple project lines, and publishing several first-author papers. Educational credentials include a PhD in Molecular Biology & Genetics from Cornell University and an MSc in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
