Sidney M. Bell is a highly skilled staff data scientist and computational biologist at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative since January 2019, previously holding roles at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center from September 2014 to November 2018, including senior computational biologist and doctoral researcher. Sidney also gained experience as a computational biology intern at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and as an undergraduate researcher in the Capecchi Lab at the University of Utah. Sidney earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a Master's Degree in Epidemiology from the University of Washington, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Vassar College.
