Marek Ziemak

Marek Ziemak has a diverse and extensive work experience. Marek started their career at CD Projekt RED in 2006 as a Game Tester and later served as a Gameplay Designer and Scripter. From 2010 to 2014, Marek worked as a Producer and Level Designer at CD Projekt RED, where they contributed to the development of "The Witcher 2" and supported the PR team in promoting the game.

In 2012, Marek established their own consulting company, operating as a sole proprietor. Marek provided consulting services for various clients until 2014 when they joined 11 bit studios S.A. as a Senior Publishing Producer. In this role, Marek was responsible for managing 3rd party projects, negotiating agreements, creating production plans, and collaborating with marketing and business teams.

At 11 bit studios, Marek progressed through different roles, including Executive Producer, where they led a team of publishing producers and ensured the quality of external titles. Marek then served as an External Development Director, driving scouting, evaluation, project management, and product management for all titles in the company's publishing portfolio. Currently, they hold the title of Chief Production Officer at 11 bit studios.

Additionally, Marek shared their knowledge and expertise as a Lecturer at Warszawska Szkoła Filmowa, where they ran a production workshop and taught project planning and game creation techniques from 2015 to 2021.

Marek Ziemak received their M.Sc. Eng. degree in Cybernetics and Computer Science with a specialization in Computer Aided Management from the Military University of Technology. Marek attended this institution from 2003 to 2008. Following this, Marek pursued further education at Kozminski University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on IT. Marek attended Kozminski University from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, Marek obtained a certification as a Professional Scrum Master from Kate Terlecka in May 2012.
