Martin Balawajder

Martin Balawajder has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Martin began their career in 1986 as a Manager of Corporate Finance at PwC and worked there until 1994. Martin then moved on to HSBC Global Banking and Markets as an Assistant Manager of International Corporate Finance from 1995 to 1996. Following that, they joined J.P. Morgan as Vice President and Head of Polish Investment Banking from 1996 to 2001.

In 2003, Martin Balawajder worked as a Consultant at Bank of America until 2006. Martin then joined CD PROJEKT RED as a Strategic Finance Director and Member of the Management Board from 2007 to 2009. From 2010 to 2012, they served as the Director of Capital Markets at IPOPEMA Securities.

In 2012, Martin joined Exalo Drilling S.A. as the CFO and Vice President of the Management Board until 2014. In the same year, they became the CFO at Polska Grupa Farmaceutyczna S.A.

Since 2015, Martin Balawajder has held various roles. Martin was a Senior Advisor CEE at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. from 2015 to 2018. Currently, they are the CFO at 11 bit studios S.A. since 2015, where they previously held the positions of Non-Executive Chairman from 2012 to 2015 and Non-Executive Director from 2009 to 2012.

Martin Balawajder completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1983 to 1986. Additionally, they obtained their ACA certification from ICAEW in 1992 and their Corporate Finance Representative certification from the Financial Conduct Authority in 1995. In 2012, they obtained their FCA certification from ICAEW.
