Julien Anguenot

SVP Software Engineering at 11:11 Systems

Julien Anguenot has an extensive work experience in software engineering and technology leadership roles. Julien started their career at Zope Foundation as a Committer member, where they contributed to the development and maintenance of the Zope platform. Julien then joined Nuxeo, a leading open source ECM vendor, as a leading R&D software engineer and partner.

In 2008, Julien became the Chief Technology Officer at Enfold Systems, where they played a key role in providing solutions based on the open-source Plone content management system. Later, they co-founded Sofun Gaming, a start-up in the betting industry, and served as the Technical Co-Founder & CTO. At Sofun Gaming, they obtained the necessary license to operate in the regulated French market and successfully secured funding for the company.

Julien's career also includes roles at Access Code School as a Sponsor, where they contributed to fostering talent in the technology industry. Julien then joined iland Cloud as the Director of Software Engineering, Vice President of Software Engineering, and eventually became the Senior Vice President of Software Engineering.

In 2022, Julien Anguenot joined 11:11 SYSTEMS as the SVP Software Engineering.

Julien Anguenot received a Bsc in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Franche-Comté from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, they completed parts of a Bsc in Computer Science and Mathematics at the Tampere University of Technology from 2002 to 2003.
